Our plans (also called extended service contracts) cover the cost to repair or replace major mechanical and electrical components that fail from normal use — engines and powertrain, outdrives and transmissions, electrical and charging systems, generators, fuel systems, steering and more, depending on the plan you choose. You’ll receive a full list of covered components and exclusions in your contract before you commit.

Yes. Unlike protection that’s only offered at the point of sale, our plans are available to existing owners — including boats that are several years old and well past the manufacturer’s warranty. Eligibility depends on the boat’s age, type and condition.

In most cases, yes. You can take your boat to any certified marine repair facility in our nationwide network of 500+ shops, and we pay the repair facility directly for covered claims.

Most of our plans are transferable to a new owner, which can make your boat more attractive and more valuable when it’s time to sell.

We cover most powerboats, cruisers, yachts, sailboats, pontoons and personal watercraft. Eligibility and available plans vary by the boat’s age, length, engine type and your state — get a quote and we’ll confirm exactly what’s available for your vessel.

For covered repairs we pay the repair facility directly, so you’re not stuck floating a large bill. Deductibles vary by plan and lower-deductible options are available. Financing also lets you spread the cost of the plan itself into manageable monthly payments.
